Voltified Energy nominated for the Polish Innovation Award 2026

Voltified Energy has received an official letter nominating it for the Polish Innovation Award 2026. For our team, this is important recognition of the path we have chosen and further encouragement to develop Polish technology with the ambition to make a real impact on Europe’s electric-mobility market.

Voltified Energy nominated for the Polish Innovation Award 2026

Voltified Energy has received a document marking an important moment in our company’s development. The official letter confirms our nomination for the Polish Innovation Award 2026 in a programme run by the Polish Agency for Enterprise (Polska Agencja Przedsiębiorczości).

This is important recognition because it shows that the direction we have consistently pursued has been noticed within Poland’s entrepreneurship and innovation community.

One page, backed by months of work

The nomination letter is one page long. Behind that single page, however, are months of design work, data analysis, difficult decisions and discussions with market representatives. It also represents hours of work by our team and the people supporting Voltified Energy’s development with their experience, knowledge and trust.

That is precisely why we see this document as more than formal confirmation of our participation in a programme. For us, it symbolises another stage: moving from an ambitious idea to a solution that is increasingly being noticed and assessed in a real business environment.

Every young technology company begins with the belief that a particular problem can be solved better. Real innovation, however, is not simply about using new technologies or calling a product “groundbreaking”. It begins when an idea meets a specific need, can be implemented and creates measurable value for users and the market.

Innovation should solve a real problem

The electric-mobility market is developing rapidly, but its growth brings new challenges. One is limited access to independent, understandable and comparable information about traction-battery health — the most expensive and one of the most important components of an electric car.

This lack of knowledge affects more than drivers. It also concerns dealers, used-car traders, fleets, leasing companies, insurers and vehicle-financing institutions. If the market cannot reliably determine a battery’s condition, it is harder to assess risk properly, predict future use and establish a fair vehicle value.

We are developing Voltified Energy’s solutions in response to precisely this gap: independent traction-battery diagnostics and certification, the Battery Health Value methodology and the Voltified Fleet Intelligence platform. Their shared goal is to turn scattered technical data into information that helps people make better business and purchasing decisions.

We therefore see the nomination not as recognition of an idea alone, but as an important signal that the problem we are working on matters, and that the direction we have chosen deserves continued, consistent development.

Polish technology with European ambitions

From the outset, we have wanted the intellectual property, expertise and know-how behind the technology we are developing to be created in Poland. However, we do not want “Polish technology” to be merely a promotional slogan.

The real value of that description emerges when a locally developed solution addresses a problem found in other markets too, and can compete on quality, credibility and usefulness. Our ambition is to build precisely that kind of technology: developed in Poland, but designed around the challenges facing the entire European market.

The nomination for the Polish Innovation Award 2026 strengthens our belief that this effort is worthwhile. At the same time, it commits us to maintaining high standards, further validating our assumptions and continuing discussions with market participants.

“This nomination means a great deal to us because it shows that work on technology addressing a real problem can be recognised. We see it not as a finish line, however, but as a commitment: to further development, even greater diligence and building a solution that will matter to the market in Poland and Europe.” — Gabriel Markut, Co-founder and President of Voltified Energy.

A nomination is not the finish line

In the start-up world, it is easy to focus on the next announcement, event or award. Ultimately, however, the value of technology is determined not by the number of press releases, but by whether a solution works, finds practical applications and brings users real benefits.

That is why we are pleased with the nomination, but do not treat it as the end of a process. On the contrary, we take it as additional motivation to continue developing our technology, methodology and model of cooperation with partners.

Further stages of testing, business discussions and preparations for deployment lie ahead. We also want to keep developing dialogue with vehicle owners, the automotive industry, fleets, and the finance and insurance sectors. Only in this way can we build a solution that becomes a useful part of the market, rather than operating alongside it.

The 13th Polish Entrepreneurship Congress

The awards will be presented during the 13th Polish Entrepreneurship Congress, scheduled for 3–4 November 2026 in Wrocław. According to the information we have received, the gala ceremony will take place on the first day of the event.

The congress will bring together representatives of business, science, government and the innovation community. For Voltified Energy, taking part is not only an opportunity to present the direction we are developing, but also a chance for new discussions, exchanges of experience and relationships needed to implement technology successfully.

In the letter, the organiser also highlights extensive media coverage of the event and its award winners, naming Forbes, Newsweek, Gazeta Wyborcza, Interia, Onet and WP, among others. For a young technology company, a presence in this setting offers a chance to bring the issue of battery-data transparency to a much wider audience.

Thank you to the people building this journey with us

No important stage in a technology company’s development is the achievement of one person alone. Voltified Energy’s progress so far is backed by team members, experts, partners, institutions and people who have taken the time to talk, assess our assumptions and offer honest feedback.

We thank everyone who supports us in building this technology, has asked difficult questions and has helped us view the project from different perspectives. Receiving the nomination letter is an important moment for us, but the most important work still lies ahead.

We are not slowing down. We are developing the technology, expanding cooperation and consistently pursuing the direction we have chosen.

This is only the beginning.

Mileage Is No Longer Enough: How Battery Data Will Transform Used EV Valuation

Mileage, age and service history are no longer enough to value a used electric vehicle fairly. The battery-its actual condition, the quality of available evidence and its impact on future costs-is becoming crucial. We examine why SoH alone is not enough and how BHV could change pricing, financing and trust in the EV market.

Poland cannot be only Europe’s factory. It must become its laboratory!

Poland cannot be only Europe’s factory. It must become its laboratory!

Business patriotism does not mean choosing everything simply because it carries a Polish label. It means building knowledge, technology, intellectual property and standards in Poland that are good enough for Europe to choose them. Using the examples of Jan Czochralski, InPost, Solaris and the battery sector, we show why Poland cannot settle for being a factory — it must also become a laboratory.
